I have an old (from a Gateway PC) Quantum Fireball (3.5 Series - MAX
LBA 20044079) HDD, p/n 5501428. The controller board has a fried (visible) chip on it. Not sure of the firmware version...need help to ID.
Looking to buy a replacement logic board.

Your are lucky Quantum board are only Family specific (No need to match firmware) Witch mean a board from any LCT Drive should match. I know by fact that they are multiple LCT Family (LCT 10, LCT 15, LCT 20 ... ).

Firmware version of quantum HDD are usually Tag under the drive (same side as the PCB) and look like ALB3 0930.
