I'm trying to help my friend recover data from this drive. I suspect the drive is mechanically OK but only has a dead logic board, because the drive worked fine until the computer was killed by a power supply issue. Now the drive won't spin up at all or make any sound when it is put into a USB enclosure that is known working.
