Hi,
I am looking for a working PCB to repair a disk which was damaged by overvoltage in the mains. The label states:
MDL: WD200BB-00DEA0
DATE: 19 NOV 2002
DCM: DSBANA2AA
The PCB is marked 2060-001129-001 "REV A"
The white label on the IDE connector is marked:
2061-001129-000 D XW 1908 EFZ1 4 0007210 3217
I find a lot of near-matches on ebay and other places on the net. I don't have the expertise to resolder SMD chips. Is it possible to find the right PCB to revive the drive without changing chips?

I don't think that you can swap PCB without desolder/solder the ROM chip.
I suggest you to ask someone and do it for you, like TV repair, etc.
And also I might be able to help you to find the PCB, PM me if you're interested. |
