|
|
I have a 500GB Seagate 7200.11 with firmware SD35 and PCB board of:
100468972 and LSI chips on it that has 2 fried chips, or capacitors, not sure which...the actual disks are ok, just the board is fried.
To my logic, if I just get the new board it should work, it does spin up with a newer board on it, but I got the 7200.ES instead of the .11...
SO, if anyone has one for sale, I would greatly appreciate some help, I just need it long enough to transfer the data off of it and put it on a 1TB drive instead. I will include pictures as soon as I can.
Thanks in advance for any help you guys can offer. |

The original board may have a shorted diode. If this is the case, then there is an easy DIY fix. Let's see the photo ... |
