Nice to see someone else from Washington state. Very Happy

Odds are that the boards they are offering are not exactly the same (that is to simply replace the pcb and get the hard drive up and running), but they still should work as long as you do a rom chip swap.

Sure, matched the PCB number 100512588 REV A, and then you need to swap the 8pins rom chip before swap PCB.

Thanks
Eric

I would prefer not to buy from China; are there any US based people or companies who could sell me the PCB?

Try the following vendor:
http://www.onepcbsolution.com/

His price is US$40, plus $10 for a ROM transfer, if required. He ships from USA and Canada.

Otherwise, upload a detailed photo of your PCB and one of us will help you with a DIY repair, if feasible.

BTW, I am not associated with any supplier.

Thanks so much for that information!
I would assume I would need a heat gun to do the chip swap ay?
