The board model reads 2060-701450-011 Rev A

Still working on finding my torx so I can take the board off, but you can hear the platter spin, but doesn't detect in BIOS.

The rule of thumb appears to be that, if a drive spins up, or if it tries to spin up, then the board is probably OK. Instead the problem is most likely with the HDA (head/disc assembly).

If, OTOH, the drive makes no noise at all, and does not attempt to spin up, then the board is probably faulty.

I'd try cleaning the contacts at the preamp connector with a soft white pencil eraser.
