hello

i have a Western Digital WD2000 IDE drive that i cant get to come on. it doesnt do anything when i plug it in, no noise, nothing. i have read around the internet that it can either be the spindle motor or the logic board. i have no idea which it is.. i was hoping someone here would be able to tell me that. the last time it worked, i believe it was in a computer that wasnt hooked up for a long time. it was used in that PC until the PC was replaced, then the PC was unplugged and set aside. when i went to use the hard drive in my USB enclosure, nothing happened. i also jumped a PSU and plugged it in and it still does nothing, and same results when plugging into a pc. it didnt make any noise, doesnt appear or sound to power on/up. if it is the logic board or spindle motor, would it be worth replacing

Most likely its a PCB.
You have to find correct board and try it.
Provide a full model number of your drive.
We will check our inventory.

Hi,

List the full model# and a printed PWB# on the PCB. Others will respond with an offer if they have the PCB you are looking for in stock!!!

PWB# should be 2060-70XXXX-XXX Rev A. You'll find a similar number on a small white sticker starting with 2061--70XXXX XX
