Hi, my controller board just literally burnt out and I'm looking for a new one since I'd like my data. The board number is 2060-701590-000 Rev A, the drive model is WD5001AALS-00L382, and the serial is WMASY4749575. If anyone has one please let me know. Thanks |

ROM is a unique info about your drive that is stored in processor of the board and necessary to make a your drive work. Even if you find a correct board, you will have to reprogram it with original ROM info. _________________ www.datarecoveryne.com |

That might really be the low end price...
Very once in a while, the straight PCB swap do work but I don't know how many PCBs you may have to try before finding the match...
So far, I'm seeing about 1/50 or so get the lucky match. Even the drive that was produced on the same day with the exact same DCM#, we are experiencing the no go on the straight PCB Swap... |
