Hi

I'm looking for a replacement logic board for my Seagate 7200.2 HD and found one with the same model number and firmware version but the date code and rest of the info is not the same.

Any idea if this will work?

I also heard that I need to get a replacement logic board which manufactured within 4 or 5 weeks from the original. Is this true?

Appreciate any input.
