This drive went out on me. Well, not mechanically, but the computer will not even begin to power up UNTIL I disconnect the DC power cable from this particular drive. Tried different power supplies too. Some reason this drive shorts out the PSU and causes the computer to stay off until disconnected.

Hopefully I'll be able to swap the circuit board on this drive for a working one. If anyone can help it'd be great. Thanks!

hi,
does your drive don't spin up and pc won't start until you disconnect hard drive? it seem PCB has been short if i am not misunderstand. please post your PCB images. or send them to my email. i need both side of your PCB. as clear as well. thanks.
