hi, thanks for the replies...one thing i don't understand: can i just use any PCB from a HDD with a DCM of HSBHYAJCH , or do i need to match my PCB #?
the number on my PCB is 2061-001292-A00 AC

The number you adivsed is white lable, we need the exactly PCB number start as 2060-701292-00? REV A etc...

My PCB# is 2060-001292-000 REV A
what i don't understand is everyone is telling me that i need to swap BIOS chips no matter what...but in the example on the main page of this site, he just used a hard drive with the same firmware, etc, and it worked fine.
i don't have a heatgun/rework station/etc, so i'm trying to figure out what my options are. |
