Anyone got a PCB from a Diamondmax 9 drive where the TLA number is:
6YxxxPxxx12xx
where 'x' is don't care.

Tried that already too. No luck. There might not be many of those G8FYA f/w PCBs out there after all.

How sweet....I eventually found a YAR41BW0 board with the G8FYA revision. It had a Hynix flash instead of a Samsung one, but I plugged it in and my data is back. I'm copying it as we speak.
BTW, this isn't an advertisement, but I found the board at www.allegro.pl, a Polish site. A lot of drive sellers there seem to publish fairly hi-res images of their drives, which can be useful if you want to read a serial # etc....
Fortunately one of my students is Polish, so with his help, the deal went smoothly.
