Hello! I think i have a dead drive hd : WD10EACS WD Caviar GP PÀWD P/N : wd10eacs-00zjb0


i moved several times into the freezer nothing happens, he cant be detected even by the bios, what do you guys thinks ? Do you think by changing the PCB board will solve the problem ??

You should not have put your drive into a freezer. It creates even more problems. PCB replacement won't help you either.
If data is important to you, take your drive to a pro, maybe its not too late yet.

i have no datas on it, i just want to use it like a normal hard disk

but how are you able to resusitate the hard drive in the exemple on the homepage of deathharddrive.com??? why i cant do it with mine?

On a main page drive was revived by replacing a PCB board, which was a problem in that case. Drives have many different issues and in order to fix a drive, you need to know exact problem with it.

Does the drive spin up, or sound as if it is trying to spin up?

If not, then it is most likely a board fault, although freezing may have created a second problem inside the HDA.

If it's a board fault, can we see a detailed photo of the component side?
