I have HDD of 1TB. But the problem is if i don't operate it 10-15 mins then when i start using it , it takes 3-4 second to respond. And every time it occurs. I want to the reason behind this? It's a Samsung HDD.

Most likely your computer puts your drive to stand by mode, so when you trying to use your computer again, it takes few seconds to initialize a drive.

you can change hard drive power setting make it never sleep.
