I have a toasted western digital wd600

Model:wd600BB-00CAA1
Date: 20 Nov 2002
DCM: HSEHCV2AH

Drive parameters LBA 117231408

I tried the freezer trick, and it still doesn't spin or anything. it does get warm if i leave it plugged in. I guess that means it is the board?

Any help? I have pictures of my little 10month old that I don't want to lose!

The "freezer trick" is not a good idea.

Does the drive buzz or vibrate as if it's trying to spin up?

Can you see any damage on the component side of the PCB?

no spinning, no clicking, but no visible damage either
