Hello:
This is my problem
One day i woke up and decided to gave my father my WD netcenter for him to store his music i look in my cabinet and found it unfortunatly i pulled the wrong AC adapter and fried my netcenter before i back up few of my videos (some japanese anime).
when i order the netcenter i also order a second one for my cousin so we order them together form the same store same day
When i open my netcenter i found a

I swaped the PCB and the Bios recognize the disk as 19.5 GB
but i think i need another PCB
if anyone have a PCB to sell that fits my disk please let me know
i dont think if i disolder the rom and install the another rom the PCB will work or maybe it will?
Thanks
PD: i wont send my disk to an expert because it is expensive and the information is not crusial
i will post some pics lates
Thanks |

You have to transfer ROM info from original board to replacement, otherwise your drive won't work.
You can do that by re-soldering U12 chip. _________________ www.datarecoveryne.com |

You need to swap the BIOS chip(Rom) before you swap PCB. _________________ HK MingDi electronics Co., Ltd. http://www.hkmingdi.com/enindex.asp
