i just swapped out the board on a MAxtor quantum fireball 20 gig. I hooked it up in my mac G4 tower, and it wont mount. funny thing is, when i go into my disk doctor utility, it can see the drive, but not mount it.

any thoughts?

(and i apologize for the lack of details-i'm at work right now and dont have the parts with me...i'll check back after work with more info if neccessary.)

i managed to use Disk Copy to create a .DMG file (disk Image) of the drive, BUT now the MF'ing image wont mount, and I keep getting an ERROR 95 message.

A friend of mine is telling me to install Knoppix on my PC, but I really don't want to mess around with that kind of thing. Does anyody else have an idea?
