I have a Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 750gig st31000340as

Bios does not recognize it but the hard drive spins up and run with no issues how do i go about getting the right PCM board. will any 7200.11 board work? what is my best bet? should i buy a drive off ebay and switch the platters?

i need to recover this information

Stop! Your problem must solve recovery specialist only. You can not get result if you change PCB or platters. hard drive spin up - then PCB is working. If you change platters, then you lost your data!! Where you live? may be i can help you.

this is what my hard drive is doing? are you sure a PCB replacement wont do the trick

This is most common issue with this model of Seagate.

In case like you, as rule, data recovery technicion with special command read your disk. He did't changes PCB.
