Hello, I just recently fried my harddrive I use for storing all my personal files. It is important that I resurrect the data since it is not replaceable.
I want to buy: Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 120 GB Controller Board
My drive's information:
Code: YAR41BWO
GTLA: 6Y120L0132001
Match Needed: 6Yxxxxxxx20xx
Also, has anyone besides doug had luck with softcom.com.my?

Hello, I highly recommend softcom. I recieved my logic board in less than 2 weeks from Malaysia. I did have some concerns about buying from the poor quality site. I also couldnt get any response via email from this company. Possible language barrier? For only 25.00US after shipping I gave it a shot and the board arrived fairly quickly. The payment method is secure as any. Their payments are processed through Paypal which is practically the safest way to pay for anything online. Good luck.  |

I was hesitant to buy from them at first for the same reasons. Poor quality site, paypal, overseas... But, they contacted me when the item shipped and everything, so I feel pretty good about it. I will let you know how it turns out. |
