|
|
Hi guys, after putting together a new pc I went about tranferring my old Samsung HD400LD IDE drive over, unfortunately it seems not to be showing in either my new pc or the old ones bios.
The drive itself seems to whir up and after turning the pc off you can hear what sounds like it's shutting down.
Can anyone offer me any advice? |

Need more details to help you.
Samsung must have some testing programs for their drives.
If you can't get more details, search for reliable data recovery place. _________________ www.datarecoveryne.com |

Thanks, but would a testing programme work if the drive can't be detected? |

If those programs won't detect your drive, it means you have a big problem. _________________ www.datarecoveryne.com |

I downloaded a programme from Samsung, it ran in Dos and appeared to be a diagnostic tool, unfortunately it didn't detect my Hdd. |
