Hi, mydrive has been chirping from day one, but I was told to ignore it it'll be fine. well a little over a year later and its dead. It spins up but wont read or show up in windows. Its a secondary drive, so its got all my pictures, music and movies on it. windows boots up with it plugged in, it just takes a long time. I'm looking for a PCB for it.
Model: ST3500630AS
Firmware: 3.AAK
if anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it. |

PCB isn't going to fix this issue, this is internal. Need access to a clean room and professional tools for this fix.
Where are you located? I may be able to help. |

I'm in central MA, USA. I could sent it back to Seagate, which I intend to do, but they want rediculous $$ for data recovery, even though it under warranty |
