I have a board for this drive.
Can you specify why you believe your board is causing a problem?

well, the problem was after several powerdips from snow, it boote dup fine, but after transfering a 100mb big mp3 over, I overfiulled, and then ata2 errors(linux) started to appear, and now it wont mount anymore. The BIOS wont detect the hard drive neither, unless I have only the baord unattatched ot the disk, when I did this, it actually fixed the chatter(not click, the other reoccuring problem) but now it wont recognize anymore...do dont connect it without it being connected to the disk.
The only step next to do would be to put in the same logic board and see if it works or not.
Or send it to a data recovery place

If your drive spins up, there is 95% chance that you have some other problem than PCB.
In a lot of cases, then more you mess with a drive=to less data recovered or higher price for a recovery.
