Hey!
I've had this Seagate HD for 2 years now, and it suddenly stopped working.
It still spins, but now, BIOS won't recognize it and it keeps making a beeping sound every 3 seconds (this happens when it's connected to the power cable. The data cable has nothing to do with it).
Does anyone know what's the problem?
Could it be fixed by switching the logic board?
Details on the HD:
Seagate ST3250820AS
250 gb
Barracuda 7200.10
p/n 9BJ13E-300
Firmware 3.AAC
Logic board: 100406540
Any help is welcome,
Thanks! |

No. Because, Hdd still spins. odds-on, logic board is good. |
