i had this drive for about 1 year now. and just few hours ago it sort of died.
my drive is still spinning but it doesnt seem to be detected in the bios.
it was being detected in the bios for a while then it stopped being detected.
anyone with any ideas on how i can fix this other than taking it to the data recovery centres would be much appreciated.

Hi!

Based on your story, your board is fine and I don't think there is a way to avoid Data Recovery service.
