Hi,
I need a Seagate ST3750640AS
P/n: 9BJ148-568
Firm : 3.AFM
Site Code: WU
If you have a 750GB hard drive with this matching info I think we can help each other, my head needs to be changed and if your hard drive has board issue I can swap mine with yours and get your data off of the Drive. I will put it on a diff hard drive and mail it out to you in return I will keep your hard drive since I need the to swap my head with yours to get my data out of it. let me know if anyone is willing to do that. I will buy a 500GB hard drive to transfer your data to that drive, and If you got ur hard drive out of the case you can just plug this drive into the box. I know its not 750Gb but its the best I can offer. as long as we both get our data back and you get a 2nd hard drive that is 500GB I think we both will have a win win
my number is 214-636-9345 please text me or email me @ kevin@issmicro.com
thnx |

I have a Faulty 320GB Seagate ST3320620A P/N: 9BJ04G-580 Firmware: 3.AAE
the drive is recognized, it can be accessed (no clicks or noise at all) i just think it's the PCB. i bought the drive new at Amazon 3 weeks ago and i loaded it with my old's 160GB maxtor data, all of it .Now for being lazy to backup i lost like 1 year of family and church pics, that being THOUSANDS of pics my family will kill me if they find out.
i see that a considerable amount of people have the same failure on the same drive. let's buy a drive together and use the PCB we need, i don't care about the drive just want to recover my data.
Carlos. |

Your board is fine if your drive is recognized and you can access it. _________________ www.datarecoveryne.com |

acBrooks2,
Check the post I just entered in the General area. I recently repaired a drive that had suffered the identical problems. Read that post, and if this sounds like your problem, send me a note at Mike dot Simmons @ att dot net. |

Site: WU (although this shouldn't make a difference)
I have just used this myself for a PCB swap to get a similar drive working.
Contact me asap as this drive is meant ot be picked up by a customer of mine on Thursday/Friday, but I can always go and get them a new disk.
All the best,

I need the above hard disk. Please contact me if you still have one or can get one for me. My email na_micron@yahoo.co.uk

Hi
just posted a message here:
http://www.deadharddrive.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1325&highlight=aae+st3320620a
then saw this thread.
Looking for PCB or instructions to fix the hard drive below. It fried when I think I plugged the wrong power cable in.
It was within a Maxtor external hard drive enclosure and should have taken 12V 2A but I think I might have given it 19V 3.2A or 18.5V 3.5A. Probably the 19V 3.2A.

I'm also in need of a PCB
P/N 9BJ04G-305
Firmware: 3.AAE
Date Code: 07285
Site Code: WU
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10
320 Gbytes
From an external Maxtor Hard Drive
After looking for an answer I also found this:
http://forum.hddguru.com/seagate-baracuda-st3320620a-burned-element-t11036.html
I wonder if this is worth a go? Anyone want to try?
My drive doesn't power up, no spin, so I guess its the pcb. |
