One of the chips fried on the PCB, as Seagate don't sell parts which look easy enough to swap out, I am looking for a PCB to try and get the data off the drive (without paying whatever per 15gb disk).
Whilst still under warrantee, I have 3 years to find one before I return it.
Lesson learnt - I hadn't backed up the data - like a sucker.
Does anyone have a spare?

Seagate Barracuda 7200.10
500gb - ST3500630AS
P/N: 9BJ146-308
Firmware: 3.AAK
Date Code: 07516
Site Code: TK

Replying to my own post - tsk...
I looked on ebay for my drive and emailed all sellers.
I found a perfect match (the date code only was different by one digit).
And although I payed a bit through the nose, it was WAY cheaper than a data recovery company, and I have a new drive as well.
Anyway, so I found a match on ebay (I had to buy the whole drive though), not so many PCB only sales there.
Doesn't matter, took about a minute to swap the boards.
Plugged the old drive with new board into my PC as a slave, and booted.
All drives were available.
The next few hours were a bit sweaty as I copied massive chunks of data to another drive.
But now I have all my pictures, home movies, music etc. back.

I have now copied all this data to an external harddrive as well - lesson learnt.
I hope this can be of use to other people on these excellent forums.

I need this PCB also, except my date code is one digit out from your post - 07526.

Now that you have your data, I don't suppose you have that PCB/drive going spare?
