|

Due to total incompetence by myself i accidently fried my PCB on my Seagate Barracuda (yes I know understand why you dont unplug a hard drive when the pc is switched on...)
My current model is
ST3200822A S
S/N 3LJ3BHCY
P/N 9W2854-301
HDA P/N 100314751
CONFIG : A5D-08
FIRMWARE : 3.01
The back of the PCB has code 100306335 then F 65199TLX
I have seen a replacement PCB from other 200gb seagate but the details say :
Removed from.............Seagate ST3200822AS
Brand name.................Seagate
Model number..............ST3200822AS
P/N.................................9W2854-001
and on back of pcb it has 100306335 F 6524GQML
My question is , even thought the model number is correct would the PCB still work on my hard drive if the P/N is different ?
Normally I would just throw the poor drive away but I have left all my honeymoon pics on there and not actually had them printed , havent told Wife yet due to understandable response and do actually want to live a while longer...
Cheers in advance!

You have a very good chance.
Make sure Firmware is a match. _________________ www.datarecoveryne.com |
