Hi , im new to this. Yesterday i burned a wd2500ks, actually if i plug the power source, the computer wont power up(shortcircuit) . I happen to own a wd3200AAKS (note the AA) , i wonder if this controller would be useful to recover data from the first drive.

pls somebody help me. the question is simple , will a controller of a western digital wd3200aaks work on a wd2500ks hard drive? |

So , i need to get the same exact model with the same numbers on the pcb?
what is an u12 firmware? |

another question. if a pcb doesnt match an hd , could it damage it?
In other words, its safe to try different pcbs not matching the model? |
