The circuit board on my hard drive has failed. After some serching i found an IDENTICAL drive in every way. The serial number is the only thing different. I switched the circuit board and daisey chained my drive in a IBM P.C. You can hear the drive turning so there is power to it but the P.C doesnt recognize it. Even if i go into BIOS there is no indication of my drive.
What can i do to get this to work. All help would be greatly appreciate it.
thanks in advance.

I have offered you help, but you decided to be rude.
In this case you are on your own. _________________ www.datarecoveryne.com |

You stated 100 dollars for a new board. I wasnt rude i told you that i got it for cheaper. I already contacted the company I got it from and they are sending me a replacment. Once again i wasnt rude but i do appreciate the help. |

I offered to fix your board, did not offer a new board.
There is a big difference between piece of electronics and labor.
Unfortunately, labor costs are very high these days. _________________ www.datarecoveryne.com |
