Hi guys

I desperately need an ST3300831A with firmware 3.02 exactly

This drive is striped in RAID 0 with another (working) drive

It contains 8 years worth of music, film, video

Obviously this stuff can be recovered over a long period

BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY:

It contains 10 months of university gap year media collected on a trip to India - thats pictures, audio and video amounting to 10s of GB

I think it would about to a years worth of time if played in a playlist

I desperately need this - so many memories will be lost.....

Thank you

I'm in same situation same harddrive and firmware was wondering once you retrieve your data would you sell on the controller. I was removing my old harddrive while the machine was on (big mistake) sparked it on metal casing now it’s doesn’t spin up, I’ve tried ST3300631 Firmware 3.16 harddrive spins and I got error message so I suppose I need identical match.

Can you elaborate? I have the same model hard drive that is dead. I'd love to be able to recover the data.

Hi,

I need the same PCP you have, would you be willing to swap the drive for another 300gb seagate with different fimware so I can save my data?

Thanks

Jason
