Hi all.
I've got an 80GB Maxtor drive here (98196H8, 2AH814YO) with what appears to be firmware corruption.
It shows up in the BIOS as a 20GB Maxtor LEO (no model number) and nothing will recognise it.
Has anyone seen this, if so have they fixed it? The drive is pretty old, not a DiamondMax 9 or 10

the problem could be that the logic board is sending the wrong data to the mother board this is why its showing up wrong on the bios
the other option is firmware corruption which we are working on now
and should have up and running very soon |
