Hi there,

My "smooth" IC on the PCB burned (screw on there pins).

Do you think that if I swith the smooth IC by another the HDD can restart?

Here is my caracteristics :

Seagate Baracuda 7200.8

400Gbytes IDE

Model : ST3400832A

P/N : 9Y7485-301

Firmware : 3.06

PCB nbr : 100335769 N 76215FP3

"agrere" IC nbr : 100356070

"smooth" IC nbr : unknow (burned)

Feel free to contact me if you have any information that can help me to recover my HDD.
