Hope someone can help. i carelessless plugged in my HD while my machine was still on and I think I toasted the PCB. The drive no would no longer spin up at all.
Thinking that I could get away with a 6L200P0 PCB I purchased one off ebay and swaped the boards - the disc spins up now - but still not recognized in bios or otherwise.
This leads me to believe that I need the precise 6L200R0 PCB. and in looking at both PCB's closely I can see a slight difference - one small 8 pin IC is missing on the "P" version. This must be the reason it is still not recognized.
I have a scan of the PCB in jpg format, but i'm not sure how to post the picture here... |

If you wanted to help, why did you wait until I offered my drive to him?
beamik, if you're interested in my drive, I'll beat the prices of both these guys. |
