A family member put a laptop power supply into an external MYBOOK drive. Fried the PCB drive motor control chip. The burn is obvious.


I'm looking for a model WD1600JS-00MHB0

or the exact PCB reads

2061-701335-B00 AG XT 2V14 MQZ2 2 000731R 6 335

Anyone have a lead as to how to scour the world of discarded drives for this PCB? Haven't had any success locating any working drives that are for sale.
