I have a Maxtor Diamondmax Plus 9 80g that dumped. With guidance from this message board, I figured I would at least try the logic board thing. Well, short story short, didn't work. I therefore assume it wasn't the logic board so I would think then that I have 2 good logic boards that might help someone get their drive back. You can see the new one I tried by searching eBay for item #190094153415, as that is the auction I won and the board I received. Would be willing to sell and ship BOTH boards to someone (IN THE CONTINENTAL US ONLY) for $40 via paypal. I really loathe world wide transaction so no international, even if it is only 40 bucks, sorry. Anyway, if interested, PM or email (better) at skersell@cox.net. Hope this helps someone out, wish it could've helped me save about 70GIG, but maybe you will have more luck. Thanks for your time, God Bless.
