Hey Guys 'n' Gals,
Does anyone have any experience with de-striping a RAID0 raid set? MY Hitachi Deskstar 500Gb went "POP", and I have just managed to resurrect it by desoldering the burnt component ... the Transient Voltage Suppressor diode if you are interested.
The drive now spins up and is recognised by the BIOS, but I really don't want to put it back in my Freecom Datatank enclosure in case the PSU on that device is suspect.
Can anyone recomment RAID analyzing and destriping software. I can connect up both RAID0 drives to my PC with USB/SATA adapters, but need to try and rescue the data off the raid set.
Cheers,
Ripface. |
