this is what happened...I woke up one morning (I leave my computer on just turn off the monitor) and the screen was blue...so I rebooted and got an error that said disk failure....so I installed windows 7 64 bit on my other hard drive and proceeded to see if I could retrieve the data of the old hard drive which had windows 64 pro as well...when I click on the drive called F it said parameters in correct....so I tried multi programs to try and retrieve the data one program got me all my pictures with some corrupt back...but I can't read the rest of the saved data....I tried rescure my files and that took days of nada....so I tried seagates tools and that took hours...and various other programs with no results...even ones mention on this list....I checked the hard drive for noise...no noise but I can feel it moving on the inside....I will tell ya this I will never buy seagate again...their tech support people are snotty....Now when I restart I have to shut down first and unplug and replug the bad hard drive back in for the bios to see it....then it takes for ever to boot into the good hard drive...but if the bad hard drive is removed I have a quick reboot.....Can anyone help me retrieve the info off from it?

First step is to make an image of your original drive to a perfectly working one and then work with working drive to recover your files.
Trying to scan your failing drive could create more damages on your drive, which could result in total loss of your data.

How would I scan an image of the corrupt drive?...I thought thats what some of those recovery programs did?....

Clone your drive sector-by-sector using software that understands how to work around bad sectors. Then use data recovery software on the clone.
