The person who attempted to do the ROM swap busted a pin off my ROM chip. Sucks.
So what are my options? Would an exact match PCB work? Am I stuck sending it in to a data recovery service? |

hi,
i can handle it or you need to send it out to DR company for process. rebuild ROM data from hard drive. others option is try to read it without programmer if can you connect the pins. please email or MSN me if need help. thanks.

What is the compatible DVDR on a "HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T50N" DVD ROM? This is the the DVD ROM on my laptop been trying to burn DVD files but can't! An error always occurs. I have tried using DVD+R and DVD-R. Works good in playing DVD and burning audio CD. I use Nero 8 and Vista of may ASUS M50VC laptop.
