I really need this kind of HDD so here are all the specs:

Drive Parameters: LBA 312581808 160.0 GB

S/N WMAL91219674
MDL: WD1600JD - 00HBB0
Date: 26 May 2004
DCM: HSBACTJAA

So here is the catch:

My HDD just doesnt power up and when i hook it to any computer the bios just hangs up. (what would help?)

I got so many offers right now that i dont know from which one should i buy?

All said their PCB works. Is it possible to check if the seller really sent the right pcb from the same batch?

for kind of drive match no the point, you just need to match 2060-XXXXX will be fine. the point is swap ROM chip from bad PCB to good PCB. Smile

I would buy from the person who provides the most free help.

Some vendors just sit on this board offering their wares, no matter what the problem. They don't deserve your business.

just done similar case. WD1600JD - 40HBC0 PCB: 2060-701267-001 REV:A, replacement PCB with 2060-001267-001 REVA. Smile
